Irene is hands down amazing! I have been going to her for 12 years+. I lived in NY for sometime and would fly in when i needed a hair cut! Sounds crazy, but shes worth it! She styled my sisters wedding party, all my school dances ect. and have never disliked any style i was asking for. I have thick, long and curly hair and love to wear it both straight and curly. Irene knows the exact way to style my hair so it looks great both ways which is hard to do. Plus, she is so personable, you never have those awkward moments when seeing her.

After finding Rachel....no need to search any further.. After searching for several months for someone who really knows how to cut and style hair, Rachel at Charles Ifergan is the answer I have been looking for!! I have been going to Rachel for the past 2 years and she is a natural when it comes to shaping my fine, thin hair. It feels thick and looks very shiny by the end of every appointment - consistently. From the very first time I went to her she knew just what to do with my frizzy and unmanageable style and how to make it compliment the shape of my face. I am so grateful I have found a real professional!

Rachel is the BEST!. I like reading the other reviews about how amazing Rachel is because she really is. Not only do I still drive to Deerfield from the city for the past 5 years, but I have started to bring friends with because they also think she does an incredible job. I've been going to her for 12+ years...and I plan on going to her for another 12!

Rachel is AMAZING!. Rachel is amazing, I have been going to her for years and she always has the best suggestions and ideas. I have never had a cut that I haven't LOVED!

Rachel did the hair for my wedding and everyone looked amazing. My mother in law (who lives out of state) makes it a point now to see Rachel when she is in town!

It's all about Rachel. I love everything about the people at this salon. From reception and shampoo to check out, it feels like home. Linda is amazing with my color, and Vicki makes my shampoo feel like a massage. But it's really all about Rachel. I've been going to her for 13 years. When she's unavailable, I'm lost. She makes my very difficult hair look great and I've never had a bad cut. I can't say enough about how highly I recommend her. Everyone I've sent to her feels the same.

Rachel is the one and only!. I have been going to Rachel for over 12 years now. Even though I have moved into the city, I still make trips back to Deerfield to get my hair cut. I have tried the supposed best stylists in Chicago but they just don't compare to Rachel. I trust her and only her with my hair!

Rachel is the Bomb. I have been going to Rachel since I was in high school. My mother forced me to go to her for my prom haircut, and 12 yrs later I am still going there. I would reccomend Rachel to anyone looking for a great haircut.

Very professional and great stylist. Rachel does a an outstandingn job. Very knowledgable, friendly and takes a lot of pride in her work. After 40 years years, she is top quartile.

Love my haircuts!. Rachel has been cutting my (short) hair for several years and she does a terrific job! My hair always looks great. She is very enthusiastic about her work and really takes pride in what she does. To top it off, she's sweet and pleasant and a great conversationalist!
