Reliable Pet Sitter. My family has used Heavenly Critters since 1999 when we wanted to visit my son who had moved away and we had a sick cat. Barb is the most kind, honest, animal-loving person I know. Since then, we have two other cats and go away at least three times a year, usually for about six days at a time. Barb pet sits three times a day and spends time playing with my cats as well as taking care of them. She goes above and beyond when they are in her care. One of my cats is on a raw food diet and Barb handles that expertly. No one is more conscientious. I would recommend Heavenly Critters to anyone who needs a reliable pet sitting service.

Highly Recommend. After having had 5 dogs & 2 cats in our family, we would like to voice our opinions.

We formerly had our pets kept at a very reputable local kennel. No complaints! Then we got a very shy, pound puppy who had been abused. She would have died literally in the kennel so we decided to try Heavenly Critters, who would come to our home. Our dog didn't know this person but within 15 minutes was bringing her toys to them. On the initial visit many questions were asked about our animal's vet, emergency numbers of relatives (in case WE couldn't be reached) & most importantly how & what could they do to keep our animal stress-free and home, safe. We NEVER felt they were nosey. THEY HAD A REASON (we felt) for asking the questions (perhaps from previous experiences) that they asked.

On one of our vacations, a blizzard occurred. The caretaker stayed the night, comforting our dog. On occasion our pet has gotten sick (thru no fault of the petsitter) and they always left a note telling us that fact & cleaning up that accident. Our house looked & smelled as good as new when we got back home.

We understand trust has to be earned & sometimes misunderstandings happen. But Heavenly Critters has earned our respect & trust and we would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to everyone...& we have!

Unprofessional. Unprofessional and highly suspicious of her customers from the first meeting. I would not use this service again. She seemed to be good with the dog BUT 1) was very nosy and overly talkative and did not directly answer questions 2) did not have her address on her business cards 2) was unable to find her most recent bonding and insurance paperwork and 3) most importantly, was very reluctant to let me make a copy of the COMPLETED contract.

She only wanted to give me a blank copy and told me she did not trust me (?!) She said she was afraid that I would use the contract to start my own dog-walking service, which makes NO sense because if that's what I wanted, I could have more easily used the blank copy she wanted to give me.

It's ridiculous that she wants ME to prove I'm trustworthy, when I'm the one giving her a key to MY HOUSE and paying her my hard-earning money.

This dog walking service is not worth the hassle.
