Its a fun place for a special outing, the atmosphere is cool. But we felt the food was a little sub-par for the price. I think you're paying for the experience moreso than the food. I mean nothing was horrid, but it was just ok. I'd still go again for a fun different kind of night out.

Good food, good prices, excellent service.. Excellent restaurant! My wife and I had been meaning to try them for quite a while and finally got the opportunity. We were very happy with the meal we got and the service was superb. I would highly recommend them.

Great for lunch/dinner. Avoid special occasion brunches. I've dined at Shakespeare's 3 or 4 times in the past year and found it to be good food at a reasonable price with a charming atmosphere. Unfortunately, we dined there today for Mother's day. While the service was fabulous, the food was marginal and very expensive ($22.95 pp + 15% tip).

Salad offerings and dinner rolls seemed like they were commercial (i.e. like stuff you'd buy at a Wal-mart). Entrees were better but prime rib was not only very rare (as many people prefer it) but cold. Ugh...Made me wondered if it had been cooked. Desserts were disappointing....Rice krispy treats dressed up with hershey's syrup and marshmellows. Slim slices of bland cakes again, dressed up with syrup. I'm still giving Shakespeare's a "3" as I think for regular meals it's great but I won't return for their special occasion brunches

Great choice!. Shakespeare's is an excellent restaurant set in a fabulous castle. The food is fabulous, the service was impecable, and for such astounding atmosphere, the prices were excellent as well. But if you're looking for intimacy, the dining room is quite crammy but other than that, it is absolutely superb.
