Central PA's best. U-Turn may be off the beaten path for some. But trust me, it is well worth the drive. Your hair cut and color are are the first thing people notice about you. U-Turn stylists will consult with you and determine the best cut and color to suite you and your lifestyle.

The staff has trained in NYC and Philly. They can educate you on the latest style and trend. I have had my cut and color done by almost every stylist in the salon, and I have never been disappointed.

They use Aveda hair color which is 97% naturally derived. That is important to me. They sell Aveda products too. They have a full line of Aveda; hair care, skincare, body products and make up.

I have found the staff to be very nice and they salon is always doing something good for the community- food drives, donations to womens shelters, Earth Month events, etc.

If you have recently moved to the area, or you are looking for a change, I would highly recommend this salon. Just because we live in Central PA, doesn't mean we have to settle for less.

Hidden Style. While U turn is located in a very conservative area, the staff are very up to date in style and techniques by educating themselves on the latest new cuts, colors and styles. Very clean salon, with many products to help maintain healthy hair and also to create and keep your style, cut or color look its best! The staff take great pride in what they do and care that you are happy with your hair before during and after you leave. The massage at the wash bowl is like the best chocolate you ever ate!

Waste of Time. These people totally ruined my hair. They do not know how to cut hair. The two times I have been there my hair has been thinned rather than shaped. I have come home with my hair in different lengths, especially in the back. While I was there for my last appointment a lady came in to get her money back from a perm that did not take. Her hair was straight as an arrow. Some perm that was! Another thing. The staff are really full of themselves, talking amongst themselves like their customers are not even there. The receptionist made me wait 15 minutes to get checked in while she casually talked on the phone with a friend. This place is a waste of time and money.

Great Service. The staff is out-of-this-world. The excel in hair care. The colorings are the best i have ever had done. They are very personable. The ambience is relaxing. The cleanest salon you would ever see!

The Best Hair Experience, EVER. Vicki at U-Turn did an awesome job on my hair. For the first time ever I can go back to the same stylist and say "do exactly what you did the last time". I would not change anything about my experience at the salon. Everyone there seemed to enjoy what they were doing, and they all made me feel welcome. I wasn't hurried through the process. I give U-Turn a "10"!!!!!!!

User review by lindsayhr. As a long time customer of Uturn, I am always quick to refer people that I meet to the salon. The friendly staff and team atmosphere creates a very inviting atmosphere. They are constantly continuing education and utilizing new methods of doing things, while maintaining a consistent level of quality. They get my vote!
