What People Are Saying About Panera Bread

In Short – Bright colors and comfortable furniture give this chain cafe a laid-back feel, with scattered tables that beckon coffee-sipping readers, chatters and diners. All baked goods--bagels, muffins, two dozen kinds of bread--are made fresh on the premises. Sandwiches include turkey-artichoke panini and Asiago roast beef, plus standards like chicken salad and smoked turkey. Soups change daily, but popular choices like broccoli and cheese, chicken noodle and French onion are always on the menu.

This is a great weekday lunch stop. They sell gift certificates and that makes a nice gift. Very good sandwiches and soups.
Great!

Panera bread hasn't been around long. However, they have certainly made their mark in State College. Not only a bagel place for breakfast, Panera serves soup and sandwiches all day long. My personal favorite is to get the broccoli and cheese soup served in a sourdough bread bowl. Also, it's great to take their breads and pastries home. Delicious!
