An honest quality repair shop
by rick61allison
I have a 2001 volkswagon jetta and it was having a variety of mechanical problems . A friend referred me to Dan bryan's for repair. I was so impressed with Bill Filley, the owner, and Kathy the manager, two very knowledgable and careing people. They set up a variety of tests, identified the problems, took me out to my car ans showed me the findings, and then let me talk to the head technition about my vehicle. After i gave the go ahead they fixed my car in a timly manner, and charged me a very fair price (I called around), i've never written a review in my life, but they deserve my praise.
- Pros: treated right

Neither Dan Bryan, or Brian work there any longer (see previous review). The business has been sold. If you really like Brian (as I did), he now works at Max's Tire and Auto Repair in Veneta.
- Pros: They are thourogh and know what they are talking about
- Cons: They tell you to repair stuff that really could be put off.
Amazing

Dan Bryan was my mechanic for years. He would always show me the old part and explain to me what was wrong with it, how it worked and why it should be replaced. He told me that I could come by anytime if I had a question, even if nothing was wrong. So, one of the mechanics, Brian, went over my engine with me and explained how things worked. He even taught me how to change my own air filter.
Today I called because I wanted to take my car there, even though I live in Seattle, because I just can't imagine finding a more trustworthy mechanic. Brian answered the phone and, after three and a half years, he still remembered me. Unfortunately, because of my warranty, I have to go to the dealership, but I was again impressed because Brian took the time to explain how my warranty works.
- Pros: Friendly, Trustworthy, Skilled
