Very good, quick and convenient Indian food.
This is a buffet only restaurant. The food is tasty and the spicing is mild and it appears they are using fresh ingredients. I have traveled in India and also taking Indian cooking classes and am always on the lookout for
good Indian food
Rice was fluffy and cooked with whole spices and turmeric. I am vegetarian and there were three veg dishes:
saag paneer, aloo chole and dal.(No surprises here, standard Indian dishes found in about 99% of the Indian restaurants in the U.S.) All were tasty and satisfying. The saag seemed to be made from fresh spinach. the potatoes were tender. The dishes were not overly oily or salty. Over all I would say the food was not over the top but very good. The pakora batter was more cake-like than crispy. The vegetables in the pakora were tender and fresh, whole chunks of zucchini and carrot, not grated or shredded as some cooks make them.
They also had a chicken and a beef dish. Freshly baked naan was replenished when we asked.
The service is extremely casual to nonexistant. When we walked in no one greeted us or seated us. We were slightly bewildered until a patron told us to just take a plate and start serving ourselves. I would definitely eat here again for a quick, healthy and satisfying meal.
Parking is ample as it is situated in mini mall.
