I give up on Century! Very bad experience. I did not treat me well from beginning to end the last time I used them. I am not as young as I used to be; otherwise, I would have jumped out and walked rather than ride with this reckless driver. Texting on the phone, almost running up the curb, getting honked at (appropriately, mind you) more than once. I am going with another ride from now on, thank you very much.

Unfriendly service, low-quality cars, outrageous price. I wish I could say some good things about Century, but car number 3, you make me a little nervous when you swerve around like that on the interstate. I needed a lift to the airport, and next time I'm in that position, I think I'll just offer a buddy $30 -- because that's what it would cost me otherwise!

Oh yeah, when I called, they acted like they didn't know my street was split into two portions. C'mon, it's not that big of a town -- you should be able to find your way around with a simple Google map or even a quick call to your dispatcher. It makes a big difference when someone has to get to the airport on time.

The price is what gets me for a town of this size. I know, it's supply and demand, but for what I paid, I could have bought a half-tank of gas!

Use the other guys. They might treat you better.

I'm through with them. Hey, do you know it costs more -- significantly more, in fact -- to take a taxi from the airport to the edge of Cedar Rapids/Marion than it does to take a taxi from O'Hare in Chicago in moderate traffic? That's a fact. Now it might have something to do with supply and demand ... but a recent experience led me to drop any demand I'll have for them ever again.

I had to go without a car for a while and got a glimpse of what it's like with some of these Century Cabs. Bumpy rides, very uncomfortable, discourteous dispatchers, and really unpleasant to ride in actually... Some of the other taxis are much better. Moreover, I've determined to give my friends rides whenever possible to save them from paying the exorbitant fares. They have much better things to be spending their money on.
