Best sushi in the area. I have been coming to Yamataiyo at least twice a week (usually for to-go) for about a year and a half now. Why?? It is an exceptional little place. Sy, the owner, is also the main sushi chef, and makes the best sushi rolls anywhere in this area. I have never had a bad experience. It is definitely a real locals' place. If you haven't tried Yamataiyo, you're doing yourself a disservice. Give it a shot--you'll be hooked.

Delicious Sushi!!!. A Diamond in the rough! This place has unreal sushi! The fish is always fresh, and the service is always great! This place gets a lot of "locals" or regulars, and with good reason. Si is the owner, and he'll take good care of you...and Angie will more than likely be your server, and she's great! I would highly recommend Si's Volcano Roll or the #1 Big Roll...you'll salivate just thinking about either of these rolls before your next visit!

Love this place!!!. I eat here as often as I can! The food is excellent and very fresh. Friends of mine who are frequent travelers to Japan always eat here when in town - in fact a few will eat no where else when in the area.
