great sushi noisy atmosphere. I love going to dragonfly, and I hate going there too, because the sushi is amazing and always fresh but the atmosphere is so noisy its deafening. You can barely hear yourself think, much less hear anyone else at the table! Its downtown so its always busy, and always has a wait. The online ordering is a good idea, although they havent updated the sight for awhile and the prices are wrong.

Best atmoshpere & sushi in Gainesville. This place is the best Gainesville has to offer and it could easily rival a big city sushi restaurant. Try the dragonfly roll or the krispy crunch.

definitely the best in town. been to a lot of sushi places not only in gainesville but also in miami beach, san francisco, LA, seattle, etc. and still dragonfly has the best rolls i've ever tried. just try the signature "Dragonfly" or Hawai 5-0 and you'll know what i'm talking about. enjoy!

Great Sushi!. Finally, a restaurant that looks like it doesn't belong in Gainesville. Reminds me of those sushi bars you find in South Beach...trendy? Prices were expensive...but the sushi is worth it!

High tech. Dragonfly is a noisy restaurant and the techno music played here made things even worse. The whole menu is a la carte, so be prepared to pick and choose. The food was good, but not enough to justify the prices. Service was lackluster, even after telling the server we had theater reservations. I went once and won't go back.
