I have been going to Custom Hair for a number of years and like the previous tip writers, I have been fighting thinning hair for ever, it seems. Sandy and Laura are a great team and anytime that I have had a problem with a hair piece they have stepped right up to make everything right. I wear my hair curly and sometime the pieces do get tangled, but they take care of the problem right away. Laura even gives me different cuts on the same piece sometimes. As far as Sandy sending anyone out the door with no hair, I find that so very hard to believe. YEA for Custom Hair.

I have been a client of Custom Hair for 51/2 years. It is fantastic to have hair you can work with and style. It looks natural and I love it. I've dealt with Sandy from day one and she is super. Laura is the stylist and she is wonderful. I feel that after all this time we are friends and that they care for me. I love this place. If you have a hair loss problem give them a try, you will not be sorry.

As the owner of Custom Hair, I would like to respond, Norma, to your comments. I know first-hand how important and emotionally charged an issue our hair can be for those of us suffering with hair loss. The importance of the job that we have at Custom Hair is never taken for granted, and owning a business that requires this kind of expertise, combined with compassion and sensitivity, has been my honor. Custom Hair has been family owned and operated continuously since 1969. For the duration of my ownership, my staff and I have always been upfront with clients, and potential clients regarding the possibility of innate inconsistencies that may arise with the manufacturing of custom hair systems. Outside of working with the best quality hair and manufacturers available in the business, I cannot guarantee the outcome of every hair system. That being said, we can control the service that we provide. I am proud to say that our customer service is the best in the industry. I know this for a fact, and after years in the industry and feedback from scores of clients finding us after years of poor service elsewhere. Should a manufacturing issue arise, I typically replace the hair, without dispute. Please, if there is a client of ours that feels differently… please call me at Custom Hair 813-932-5327!

I am happy to discuss with you the details of the contract that you signed with us. It appears that you haven’t understood it fully. I have documentation of each of the 4 hair systems ordered for you, and of all of the service visits that you received, even when you were 3 months behind in your payments. I can also assure you with 100% certainty that your full service visits have always been performed by a licensed stylist. It seems that the facts that you present do not coincide with our documented facts.

I've been coming to Custom Hair in Brandon for about 2 years now-great place! Sandy and Laura are so helpful and knowledgeable. They really care about their clients and want to please. So glad I found Custom Hair-the first place I went in Tampa was a real disappointment, but Sandy and Laura are down to earth, caring ladies-give them a call!

I signed a contract with custom hair to receive 2 hairpieces in a 12 month period.Date of contract is 10/19/11 and today is 11/07/12 I wore my first piece from Jan 2012 to 10/12 because everpiece they ordered had to be returned because the piece was bad. On 10/12 I got my 2nd piece. Once again one month after getting the piece it was very matted and I went into the Brandon shop. I told Laura I was tired of getting bad hair and just wanted to get out of the contract. She told Sandy the manager and Sandy called the owner Lori. Lori told Sandy that she would let my out of the contract but I would leave with no hair today. I explained to Sandy that I was paid in full with their compahy and wanted my 2nd hairpiece on my head before I left. Sandy tried to tell me that I had received 3 pieces which is false because every piece had to be sent back. I asked for Lori's phone number and Sandy said no, she could not give me her cell or home number. I finally said I am calling my attorney and reporting Lori for having non licenced people touching clients hair, Sand informed me that she would no longer speak to me. I asked her to tell Lori that I wanted the hair I paid for before I left. Sandy came into the room and told me that I had to leave and take my OLD #1 hairpiece withg me because they were calling the Sheriff because i was threatening her. I never threatened her I told her I was calling my lawyer and the board tomorrow. Lori, refused to talk to me, did not deliver what was agreed on the contract, and violated the terms of the contract. This company clearly does not care about it's clients when she told me to leave without hair(blad) that I had paid for.The contract clearly states that there has to be a 30 day written by either party to terminate contract. Prior to all this I told Sandy I would stay in the contract until it ends and she said no because you will go elsewhere and cancel your debit card. The only thing I wanted was my 2nd piece back, that I paid for. She made me leave with the piece I got in January after threatening to call the Sheriff.

I have been going to Custom Hair for about 8 years now. I had been dealing with my thin hair for a few years. I had tried wigs, which I hated. .. even went to a place where they sewed hair onto my head. That was a nightmare. I had heard about Custom Hair and came in and met Sandy the manager. She made me feel very comfortable and told me about their permanant hair process. Well, that was 8 years ago and I can say it was the best decision I could have made. Laura the stylist is great with my cuts and I now am able to wear the styles I never could.

I'm a client at custom hair and I love it. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. They know just how to make my hair look great and I always leave happy. Laura, my hair stylist, is always there for me and knows what I like. Sandy is great to me too. I wouldn't tell anyone to go anywhere else. Best in brandon.

I have been wearing hair for many years and used several different systems. Laura & Sandy are committed to excellence in providing natural looking hair for there customers. The stylist Laura is a true professional and my hair has never looked better. Had to write a review for this "life-changing " experience. I have had thinning hair for a few years now and it has literally ruled my life. I am a female in my 20's, mother of young children... and with everything I did I had to consider my hair condition first. Never Again!!! The ladies at custom hair have changed my life. I had a consultation with Sandy and she put me at ease immediately. You tend to think you are the only one, but I soon found out that there are a lot of women out there with this problem. I just want to say to any one reading this... don't beat yourself up another minute. You don't have to live like this. I now have beautiful hair that I can wash myself, blow dry, flat iron...wear up or down....it's a dream come true. Laura is the stylist there and she had done a wonderful job with my cut and gives me ideas for styles I could never wear before with my own thinning hair. I feel like the young women I am. My low self-esteem is gone and my husband loves it!

Thank you Custom Hair...Sandy and Laura...those words will never be enough to say how much you have affected my life.
