THE BEST SEAFOOD in Zanesville and beon.. I love the food and service has always been great. I go on important dates.little pricing for everyday. But it is well worth it.from salad,bread loaf to the meal is always perfect.love fried seafood platter.steaks are great to but love great fish. not the the biggest or cleanest restraint in Zanesville but it sure has great food.shrimp,oysters, white fish, lobster and more and all better than RED Lobsters

Not the best, not the worst. Have gone there a couple of times. Food was OK, service was marginal. I have not been there since new owners took the place over in '06. Have heard mixed reviews since, and one person even wrote to the local paper about what bad service they had. I think I would refrain from going until hearing something positive.

Very bad experience. This visit was in the Fall of 2005:

I Ordered Crab Stuffed Lobster. The crab stuffing was like nothing I have ever tasted before. The best way to describe it is a slimy gray goo that tasted like decaying fish. After scraping this "Crab Stuffing" out of the lobster, the lobster actually tasted ok. Service was poor as the waitress never offered refills on beverages. When we were asked how our dinner was, I stated the lobster was ok, but the Crab Stuffing was horrible. The Waitress stated she would get the manager. The manager walked up to the table and rudely said Whats the problem!". I mentioned, "there is no problem, I just told the waitress this "Crab Stuffing" tastes horrible". The manager, rather than apologizing, barked Well no one has ever complained about that before! and walked away. Phils Seafood was not the cleanest place either, as on the way out, I noticed the lobster tank was covered in green algae. (Wish I saw the tank prior to ordering lobster.) If you want seafood in Zanesville, just go to Red Lobster, the food tastes better, the place is cleaner and the service is much much better.
