Best Sonny's Arouund. As a regular customer of Sonny's in Port Charlotte, the food is always excellent, the service is always wonderful, and the atmosphere is friendly. I had an issue with my card being over charged. I spoke to the manager, who not only credited my card immediately, she treated my son and I to a free lunch for the inconvenience. Talk about excellent customer service! Locals - hit this Sonny's up. Best food around!

Owner Sonny Tillman has been serving the same Southern barbecue and fixings since 1968. A common roadside stop, Sonny's offers low prices and barbecue; roomy booths, wagon-wheel chandeliers and homey craft art are the standard dining room decor. House barbecue sauce, available sweet, regular or hot, spices up large helpings of smoked beef, pork, chicken, turkey and ribs. Sides like fresh fried okra, onion rings and barbecue beans complement the entrees.

good price on baby back ribs.. Server Laurri was outstanding. Too bad the food wasn't. But they tried to make good. Didn't feel too good after eating. Don't think I'd go back.
