Really good barbecue and a cool surroundings, fun for kids too. Everywhere I go I always check out the local Barbecue joints and reds is one of them in the Carson/Reno/Tahoe area.It seems to be the best in this area and they have the JIFFY burger, if you like to try something new. Try the JIFFY. If you are really hungry try Colossal Que For Two, the Chili is good and so are the onion string fry s. The beer selection is great and they have a happy hour, you have to call to get the times. But what is real nice about this place is the atmosphere, they have old farm equipment, authentic, all over the place, kids and parents will like it. Plus they have outdoor area with fireplace and an artificial waterfall looking like thing. A bar area. Then the whole restaurant has lot of interesting, yet classy, some historical pictures on the wall and art pieces - parents I saw nothing inappropriate.

Overall, this is a well rounded restaurant that should satisfy the hungry and those look for a bit of an adventure when eating. If you are highly selective about your food, don't come here, if you are extreme Martha Steward, go no further. If you want to have fun and are not afraid to try new, welcome. GREAT PLACE FOR FOOD BUT NOT VEGANS. The food is great here, although getting on the expensive side. The only thing better here is watching the cute young employees butts! Really I do mean that as a compliment, they seem to only hire really atractive staff, male and female, and friendly as all get out...workin on that tip. Tight jeans are encouraged here. common in and see! The food has gotten expensive over the years but hey!

The Best!!. Just spent the past week in Carson City, Nv. on a business trip. I was encouraged by the CEO of the company I was working with to visit Red's Grill. Thank you Mike!! What a great meal and superb service. Friendly people everywhere. The manager even came by to make sure I was enjoying my Dinner. If anyone from this restaurant reads this...please,please,please bring one to the Sacramento area. Please decorate it just like you have it in Nevada and serve the same amazing food. Red's Grill is the best restaurant experience I have had in a decade. I will be back with or without work bringing to NV.

Excellent Grub. This food was so good, and you could feed an army on what they serve you. Its a great place to have a beer and enjoy the food.

You can even watch the game.

LOVED Red's!!. We just spent a week in Lake Tahoe and drived two times to Red's to eat. The first time was just an accident that we found it on our way back to Tahoe from Virginia City. We had a great dinner and then later in the week we came back for lunch. I wish there was a similar place near our home in Fresno! The food was delicious and plentiful and the atmosphere was fun and friendly!! Highly recommend when you're in Nevada. A must!

Great Value. I stopped in at Red's last evening and I am still full this morning! Fabulous food, and gigantic portions in one of Nevada's (and probably the west coast) most uniquely decorated establishment! Wonderful service and 101 different beers, how can you go wrong.

My only complaint is that I couldn't try more things on the menu.

reds resturant. i think they could have better service and more to choose from on there menu. also better prices for there cocktails.
