It's not the PALM or Peter Luga's, but it's the best in the valley and much better than L.G.'S and The Falls.
Ambiance, service and quality are top notch.
- Pros: FRESHNESS, QUALITY, SERVICE AND AMBIENCE ALL TOP NOTCH
- Cons: A BIT TOO PRICEY, BUT WORTH IT.
Coasting downhill since last year
by mhb1954
I ate at the Chop House last year at this time and it was great. This year, it was just "so so" and I have to say that I was sufficiently disappointed to not want to go back. The filet mignon with crab meat had to be sent back... the quantity of crab on it left one to wonder if they didn't just explode a crab "nearby" and let a few pieces of crabmeat fall onto the plate. The filet was nothing to write home about, and the general meal left me sort of wondering "what was I thinking." I hate that, and when a restaurant disappoints me like that, I tend to not go back.
- Pros: Nice location and decor
- Cons: Mediocre food
Had the dry-aged Strip
by fergussc
This place was pretty good. I had the 42 day dry-aged NY Strip. It wasn't anything special. I've had NY Strips that weren't dry aged that were as good or better. It was still tasty though overall.
- Pros: quick service, potatoes very good
- Cons: kinda dark interior
A night of heaven
by mwilkey
They have the best steaks and filet migon ever. The wine was wonderful and came as a recommendation from the server. The service was incredible. Value of the meal was far for the the food that melts in your mouth.
- Pros: service, food, beverages
