Great

I thought this place was great! Our service was great! There is a young girl there that told us where all the best beaches were and they were very friendly. The Banana Pancakes were amazing! I loved the coconut syrup and service was pretty fast. It is very rustic and just a great experience! I think it is a must do in Kauai!
NO SERVICE, but LOTS of ATTITUDE, RUDENESS, and LECTURES

This is the RUDEST and SLOWEST restaurant I?ve been to in Kauai. The whole restaurant ONLY has ONE waitress serving the entire restaurant. After waiting for ? hour, we approach the old waitress in her seventies and ask if we could place an order. Instead of saying ?yes? or ?I will be with you?, she gives you a dirty look and lectures you on the spot like you are her grandkids. Telling you are in the state of Hawaii, there is only one of her and only one cook. I know, we Hawaiian are slow, but not that slow. I guess she is giving herself an excuse to be lazy. Well, I guess she doesn?t want business then. Looking at the whole restaurant there are only two tables filled. No wonder! With that type of attitude and service who would want to eat there!
My party and I left instantly without ordering. Why paid for an EXPENSIVE breakfast (pancakes costing $15 and up) greeted with a DIRTY LOOKS, ATTITUDE, and LECTURES. We went to Dani?s on Rice Street (on the same street). They have the best papaya and pineapple pancakes in town and is very affordable. Service is a lot better than this restaurant.
- Pros: RUDE! LONG WAIT. HAVE to FLAG DOWN WAITRESS. LECTURES CUSTOMERS ON THE SPOT!
- Cons: RUDE! LONG WAIT. HAVE to FLAG DOWN WAITRESS. LECTURES CUSTOMERS ON THE SPOT!

Came here for lunch. The place is definitely homely. Sit yourself. Portions are good size and reasonably priced. The pineapple pancakes are very good. I like all the differnt syrups they offer.
Good place for a quick meal.
- Pros: Fast, Not Fast Food
