Tips for Waffle House

Breakfast 24 hrs a day.. . They have fresh biscuits and some good sweet tea which is usually better in the afternoon. (not sweet enough in the morning) They take time to make sure its right. I recommend the steaks with sauteed mushrooms and onions. Also the Texas Bacon Cheese steak is wonderful. Try your hash browns with:

Scattered-on the grill

Smothered-onions

Covered-cheese

chunked-diced ham

diced-tomatoes

peppered-jalapenos

capped-mushrooms

topped-chili

They also have an all star special for $5.99 that comes with a little of everything:

Bacon or sausage

Two eggs, your choice of grits or hash browns, your choice of white toast, raisin toast, wheat toast, or biscuit. and also your choice of waffle or biscuit and gravy.

If your in a hurry for a dollar you can get:

Sausage biscuit

City ham biscuit

egg and cheese biscuit or wrap

Original cheeseburger with sauteed onions and a steamed bun

Bacon biscuit

From pecan waffles to legendary hash browns, breakfast fare rules at this homey 24-hour chain restaurant--but don't miss the chili.. In Short
Since 1955, this Atlanta-based chain has welcomed an all-hours crowd of shift workers, suits, regulars and late-night partiers with comfy booths and an extensive menu of Southern-accented home-style grub. Waffles (pecan or regular) are the restaurant's most popular dish. Other breakfast favorites include porterhouse T-bone steak and eggs, country ham, and signature hash browns cooked seven ways, from smothered with onions to topped with chili or cheese. Another bargain is the bowl of chili, which comes topped with onions, ham and cheese.
