I Love this place!. I am new to Athens and my first impression of this place is that its a bigger version of Atlanta's Lil Five Points. Its nice laid back, all types of people here, and nice added touch of boutiques. But what can be a better addition of DePalma's!!! I love it here...They have a excellent lunch menu from 11-3.. I especially enjoy the pizza slice with a salad for about 8 bucks or so..not too bad.. and the other favorite is the Chicken Asiago! So gooooood! The staff is friendly and once they see you a lot they tend to know where you like to sit at. The atmosphere is very nice and well lit. Its a great place for a quiet getaway at lunch and a lunch party. So please if you come to Athens its a place you must go to!

Wish I came sooner. I've been in Athens for 2 years and can't believe it took me this long to eat here. I've always heard about DePalma's but for some reason never found my way downtown to try it. Glad I did - they make a dish called breadsticks - not your typical dry crunchy stella doro breadstick, they are truly awesome. I also found their pasta to be very good but their eggplant florentine!! - I will be hard pressed to order something else anytime soon. Be aware - this is not a fast food restaurant, you will have to wait for them to cook their stuff from scratch but with a bottle of wine and a decent companion it's well worth it - Dining the way it used to be, good and leisurely!

Addictive! - Molto Molto Bene. Love this place. We have been going here for over 15 years and it gets better with time. Their wine list is extensive - I can always find a new good bottle that's in my price range. The pizza is always good but I can't stop ordering the Tortellini with chicken sausage - OMG, it's freakin' addictive, like the breadsticks. They have a lot of normal dishes (parmesan, scaloppini etc) and it's always great but their made up stuff like the seafood charmaine and that tortellini - MMMM! I'm sad we're moving out of the area - I hope they put one in Savannah.

Greatest Restaurant!!. I LOVE De Palma's!! The food is terrific! Best calzones in America! Pizza is fantastic! Come to think of it, I've never had anything bad there. We always get the fococcia appetizer. It's outstanding! Would recommend to anyone!

Best Italian in 100 mile radius!. This is absolutely my favorite italian retaurant I have ever eaten at! I have probably eaten here 30 plus times and never had a bad dish. Everything here is excellent. I recommend the Faccia bread appetizer, the Pasta Depalma, and the specials are always excellent. Great place to have some wine and great food in a casual atmosphere. The pizza is great as well. A MUST if you are visiting Athens.
