It is defamatory to call it Lupe’s. I used to love it, now it is horrible. Prices have doubled, 1,2,3 item combos are $10,$15,$18. Three terrible tacos with rice and beans are $18. The cheese was grated months ago in Nebraska and shipped on the back of a goat. It has the white powder of freezer burn on it. The rice is so bad , Lupe is not rolling a burrito. She is rolling in her grave.

Ambience of a truck stop diner.. For some reason, this place is really popular... I can't figure out why. The chips are greasy and gross, the service is crappy, and it has all the ambience of a truck stop diner. Apparently the favorite dish among my co-workers is the burger (I thought it was a Mexican food joint!?) - though I'm not brave enough to try it. I only go here if I'm dragged against my will. And if you happen to be a vegetarian... don't even think about it. They sneak meat into everything - probably even the water.
