Great. Kohinoor has great Indian food as well as superb service. The owner is very helpful and great, consistently greets customers and assures great customer satisfaction. They also have a full bar and tv's as well. it is a great place to eat and hang out.
YUMMY. I usually eat in the bar area when I come here. The owner is very kind and makes us feel at home. I love the Chicken Tikka Marsala and get it every time. I have enjoyed good Indian food in London, Australia and San Francisco. Although I have never been to India, I found Kohinoor to have great Indian flavors and high quality food.
The best indian food ventura county... they are reopened. Its bigger and better than ever. The service was good. Indian food if its fresh, takes time to cook it. so if I have to wait a little I won't mind for tasty and fresh food.
Remodeled and new chef! GREAT improvements! Gotta try it now. It's like a new restaurant!. I am a foody, son of a chef and overall fan of great food. I used to dine at Kohinoor a few years ago because my ex-wife liked it. To my, I thought the family that owned it was wonderful, but the food was just ok. They recently had a fire destroy the restaurant. It was closed for some time and just reopened last month. I went in last night to congratulate the owner on the reopening. He treated me to the best Indian food I have ever had. I was completely honest with him and said "the food was never this good. what happened? Did you get a new chef?" The owner explained that while they were rebuilding the restaurant, the chef trained under another chef and improved his abilities tremendously. I couldn't agree more. I understand why some of the posts below complained about the food, but as you can see, those posts are ?pre fire? and ?pre chef?s new training?. You HAVE to go try this place again. The family who owns it is so pleasant and always in there working. I would hate to see people turned away from this family owned business with excellent food because of the old posts below, so I had to post this. Go enjoy the food.
worst indian don't go. In my opion this place is quite diqusting the food had no taste the chicken was dry it was a yucky expereance.the o.k. servece was just o.k. but in my opion don't waste your money at this joint
avoid the worst indian food. the place is really disgusting, the food is really really bad. if you want to get back at somebody take them there but do not eat yourself. was sick for a couple of days.
Good food-- too bright at night. Food and service were good. They need to dim the lights or something a little in the evenings--- the bright lights give it a cafeteria lighting feel.
