Not Fun. The Dr. gave a good eye exam. That's the end of the good news. Though my insurance was paying for the exam, the tech slipped in an additional test not covered and quickly pocketed a cool $100+. I was not told about it until after I got the bill. The kicker is when my insurance co. asked them about it, the employee said it was all explained to me in advance. False! I confronted her about why she lies and she said "I heard the Dr. tell the tech to do it." I said that's not the same as telling me that this test was not incl. and would be extra. Go if you have extra money to spend.
Very Happy Patient. New glasses, see well, within my budget. New office looks great. More room, lots of glasses styles to choose from. The glasses only took two days to fabricate. Wow, very fast and the lenses sparkle. I already have my appointment for next year.
Great doc, Great staff. I was referred to this office from a friend and was very impressed. The doctor did a great exam, I found cool glasses, with the help of a very nice staff member. I would recomend this office and doctor.
Best optometrist in Westlake Village. The doctor was great The staff was great. They had a great selection of eyeglasses and sunglasses. They were easy to work with. They had hi-tech office. I highly recommend them.
High pressure. I made it clear when I went in that I would not be buying glasses above and beyond what my insurance covered and that I would be buying glasses online because I am a stay at home mom with a 2 year old and a 1 month old and I need to do the most cost effective solution. I was told by one assistant that there were frames that were covered by my insurance, then when I sat down for my consultation the cheapest frames were $25 more than what my insurance covered. Then I was pressured to spend twice the amount that my insurance covered because they had a very small selection in anything lower. Through the whole consultation I was pressured to upgrade well above and beyond what my insurance covered even though I stated over and over that I would not be spending more than what my insurance covered. I ended up leaving with nothing but a copy of my prescription. I tried to call back to get my pupilary distance measurement so I could order reasonably priced glasses on zennioptical and was given a whole liability song and dance about why they wouldn't give me my measurement even though it was apparent through the conversation that they wouldn't give it to me because I wasn't going to buy my glasses through them. The lady next to me was talking into paying just under $1000 for her glasses and balked when she was told the price so I didn't get the feeling that she was very comfortable with the experience either.
