Wonderful Family Owned & Operated Restaurant. We enjoy the food, family friendly atmosphere and most of all the cleanliness. The hostess is very friendly, just amazing with children. My son spilled "grape juice" all over their beautiful white linens a-n-d carpet, which I instantly started cleaning up. Not only was their staff graciously understanding but they insisted that I leave it for them. The waitresses are adorable in their German dresses.

We celebrated our 2008 Christmas Dinner with them, which we thoroughly enjoyed. They have very nice soups, tasty dinner items and delicious desserts. Although we have shown up as walk-in's and been seated, I would recommend making a reservation, especially on holidays. We like them so much that we actually recommend them on our waterfront vacation rental web site. Speaking of web sites you can visit theirs at... the-german-restaurant. I can honestly say their photos do not do the place justice, you'll love the atmosphere.
