ugh!!. we always go here a couple of times when we visit our son and daughter in law in NPR--breakfast is ok, tiny eggs, most stuff may be homemade (not the corned beef hash)--dinner was different--my wife ordered a fish sandwich, also did our daughter in law--the waitress said it was grouper, which it did not say on the menu--I ordered the southern fried steak which I thought would be chicken fried steak. also asked if mashed potatoes were homemade, waitress said they were "half" homemade (???)--didn't order them--all the food was brought out by the manager (owner?)--the fish sandwiches were on a burger bun, the fried fish trimmed to fit the bun--my wife asked if that was the sandwich, waitress said yes they trim the fish to fit the bun--it was wafer thin, about 2 bites--daugh in law got the other half (?) of the fillet--my southern fried steak was wafer thin, frozen some-kind-of chopped crap, deep fried, with a thick, probably canned, white mushroom gravy on top--it was not edible--if this owner is trying to save money by offering frozen junk and thinking customers won't know the difference, this NJ resident is only one of the many who will notice and stop going there--my son and his wife will not return, and they are usually there 2x a week--- AVOID THIS PLACE unless you don't care about the quality (and quantity) of your food!!!!
