I'll be as honest as I can be. I've bought 4 guns from these guys and have found the prices are good. They are competitive, but as far as trade in's ? Well those prices are on the low side to me but, better than a pawn shop. Now lately with all the hype everyone's buying guns and gauging big time. The Firing Line is charging $900 for new Glock 21's which is insane. Take Aim is keeping prices at a fair rate which will keep me coming back. I think they are a great bunch of guys.
These are a sad lot of people. The buffed-up gay porn star is by far the most annoying, worthless POS I think I've ever encountered.
The positive reviews are written by the employees.
These personal attacks don't seem to be business related. My employees don't write reviews. We don't find that necessary. I will always do whatever I can to make any situation right, but judging by these comments, maybe you just aren't the type person we prefer to do business with. We have thousands of great and loyal customers and we enjoy doing business with them, but we have a responsibility to not sell guns to just anyone. That may be why you had a bad experience here. You may be happier with a different store.
changed for the worst. Used to be my go to shop for years, I recommended them to everyone. After recent visit I was treated like I know nothing. High price on new handgun and insulting trade in offer. Lost my business and recommendation.
Well stocked and great sales people. Everybody knows about internet pricing and how it's killing local owned stores. I shopped a new gun and found it for a ridiculous low price and I called up and they matched it almost to the dollar. Now not only did I get the gun I wanted at the internet price I wanted but now I have some great staff to help out if I have any questions on a product that they sold. You do not want to get stuck with a firearm from the internet and have issues. Also they have a cool sales dog and I'm a dog lover.
Good experience. Great experience - bought an M4 rifle there - couldnt ask for anything better. Great muscle-bound salesman knew his stuff. I will be back.
Young Kids and expensive. If your buying they are great, have problems with some thing you bought, don't bother going back, you'll get no where other than raising your blood pressure. They have an excuse for everything, but know little. There are too many really great outdoors/gun shops in the area to waste your time at this one. They don't answer email either so don't bother.
Women and Guns.
A couple of months ago I was attacked leaving work, my attacker was never found and I knew I had to protect myself. Being a single female I was extremely nervous and intimidated by the thought of stepping into a mans world of guns. Luckily a friend told me of a small family owned business...Take Aim. As soon as I stepped in the door I was welcomed by a young woman and her mother. They took their time in educating me on a number of firearms and basic safety. Since then I have purchased three firearms from Take Aim and love to step in to take a look around.
Girls...don't wait like I did, protect yourself before it's too late!
Great Service, Fair prices. I have purchased all of my firearms through take aim because of their excellent customer service and very fair prices. I have searched the bay area for better prices and have not found them.
