New Management makes a difference. We went into Luppes last week after not going in for over five years. The new management that took over in September 2002 has made major improvements in food and wine list. Each dish was carefully prepared, and one of our party, an expert in italian cuisine, indicated his penne with volka sauce was the best he ever had. My steak, four inches of filet mignon, on a cabernet reduction with mushrooms had everybody at the table trying it.

Service, on the other had, has not improved at the same rate as the food and needs a lot of attention. The food was served too quickly and server did not know the menu.

In spite of those set backs, the food is worth the lack of decore and mediocre service.

Sucky Restaurant!!!!!!!!. The decor looked like a cross between a bad italian restaurant (i.e. note the fake flowers) and a pet store (i.e. bird and plant designs on the window). I thought the service was bad but the food was horrible. Not to mention it was a rip off. The food was way over priced. In addition, when we told the manager that the food/service was bad he did not apologize nor take the food off of the bill. I definately recommend not going there. Go somewhere else if you have to.

Worst Experience in years. Got cut off for too many words. Quick rundown, have been meaning to visit this place for a while. After spending over 90 minutes in this place 75% of the time was waiting on the waiter, sending things, back, eating WARM salad, and talking to the owner, who didn't care that we were unhappy, the waiter comes back and slams the leftovers down on the table and storms off because we complained.

This place is the WORST!

I was a frequest customer. but ever since the current owners took over I don't know what happened. the food went way downhill and the service is very slow. the quantity and quality are also not worth the price. pizza is also very bad

Terrible food & service!. this place is a joke. the portions are terrible and the service is terrible! The waiters & owners were rude. The prices are outrageous for the amt. of food served. No authentic Italian food at all!

Bella Bella. Michael G. is the greatest. Hand prepared, family seerved. Memorabilia is very interesting. Spinach salad is divine.

OK. Many choices on the menu. We ordered calamari, disappointed w/the small portion but was tender. The mash potato w/the entree was instant, so didn't taste that great. Sausage was tasteless on the pasta dish. Fresh spinach topping on pizza was good.
