very nice. Good food but a little over priced, place is small but service and food was good. Not a place for kids.
Romantic dim ambiance, beautiful food presentation. i loved it!. The restaurant is located in a shopping center but when you walk inside you feel like you're in a cool, romantic manhattan restaurant (im originally from nyc) Im so glad to have found this place right here in Palm Harbor. Main course and dessert were 5 star quality and presentation as very fancy. Prices were about 28$ for steak but it comes with sides and salad. I would have expected to pay double that price if we had gone to Berns or Ruth Chris. I had the Chinatown steak w mashed potatoes& mushrooms and it was amazing. Dessert is served with cute tray of sugars and cinnamin to put into coffee. This is the perfect spot for romantic relaxing evening out.
Great Service and Food.
This is the best restaurant I have been to in a long time even though it is 50 minutes from my home. The Artichoke appetizer (upon request) is absolutely to die for. The Chinatown steak is the best I ever had. Vegetables are awesome as well as the dessert. Also coffee is served with delicious extra's to put in them. The service and atmosphere is great. We ask for Pepper as our server, he is the best. They will fix things that are not on the menu but call ahead and request it also you can make reservations.

nice experience. this is a nice little place close to home, decor is nicley dim, service friendly. We started with several appetizers and enjoyed them wasnt to crazy about the escargo (havent found many places that do that well) my martini was good. then came the main courses. I had pompano, was not impressed. then ended we had 2 deserts, and could not handle all the sugar. Overall the appetizers were the best.
Formal in decor and service, but gracious in ambience, this fine Palm Harbor restaurant is an oasis for its clientele..
The Scene
Spare, with browns and neutrals, clean white linen and waiters dressed in black and white. The Blue Heron is an unlikely gem surrounded by suburbia. Its candlelit appearance may seem formal, but its patrons treat the dining rooms as their own; they relax, sit back, converse, laugh, whisper secrets, tell jokes. You feel as if you've stepped into someone's very enticing home.
The Food
Simple appetizers include chilled asparagus spears seared with lump crab meat and basil oil, excellent Australian rack of lamb with honey, rosemary and Guinness Stout sauce, served with a scoop of mashed potatoes and a pile of fresh green beans. Make sure to try the white chocolate mousse for dessert. Delightful.
A Perfect Anniversary Dinner!. It was my parents' anniversary, and it I wanted it to be special. I requested Beef Wellington, which is not on the menu. The said no problem. My parents LOVE beef wellington and it's very hard to find around here (especially made well!) but they made it wonderfully. The steaks were sooo tender and juicy. The crust was made perfectly, and not only that, they baked in decorative twirls and leafs. Very cute, and my mother loved it. ;) I had the special, which was a fish and vegetable dish on rice with a caper cream glaze. The fish was very fresh I really liked the glaze. For dessert we had creme brule and chocolate mousse cake, and they brought out slices of chocolate cake for my parents with candles in them. It was a nice touch. My parents really enjoyed it. It was a perfect evening!!
