Wrong Haircut. I went in a week ago to get a fade and became skeptical about the barber. After 10 minutes went by I saw my haircut in the mirror and asked the barber what he was doing and he said he was giving me a fade. I stopped him and said that was not a fade and it looked more like a Crew cut. i paid the man and walked out .....save yourself some money and go somewhere else , ended up going to Aubrianas on the other side of Hillsborough to finish my haircut there.
If you go, don't let Michael cut your hair!!. After reading multiple positive reviews online, I thought I had found a great place to get a haircut. Michael was the barber that cut my hair, so I can only speak of my experience with him. If you go to RJ's, avoid Michael at all costs. He is a know it all, has a different understanding of what a medium fade is than every other barber I've ever had cut my hair and told me if he cut my hair how I had asked him to that "it wouldn't look right because of the shape of the crown of my head" (even though I had my hair cut like that for four years in the Army and know exactly what it will look like). Michael had already applied shaving cream to use a straight razor to clean up around my ears and on my neck, but I said I just wanted to leave. Got up, paid him and will never go back. If you do go to this place, don't let Michael cut your hair.
