?:) Hello friends and family, I just returned from BRANDON TRANSMISSION on Robertson, in Brandon~~ I got there, they diagnosed my problem a leak in my filler tub connection to the transmission~~ not a big job, took 20 minutes after diagnosis.. I told the owner/manager I would bring the car in the morning cause I had no cash on me till then, he said he would fix it and I could come pay him tomorrow. Mind you, he never asked me for my name, address, phone ....NOTHING, yes I know he probably got the tag#, but~~ he knows me NOT!! PRETTY AWESOME SERVICE AND I AM GREATFUL TO HIM... I WILL BE THERE AS SOON AS I GET UP IN THE MORNING.. BEFORE MY NAPS!! LOL!!
Great Job!.
I could not be more pleased. After very frustrating experiences trying to get the transmission leaks fixed in my '66 Mustang, Tim and crew at Brandon Transmission quoted a fair price and fixed it promptly. Not a drop leaking now.
I highly recommend Brandon Transmission!
THANKS!!!!
Master Transmission Shop. I am a teacher so I always research everything. I have done business with Brandon Transmission on Robertson & Moon. Over the years they have always impressed me. They treat me with respect. They do what they say they would do. And the price is very reasonable. They check everything for me. You can shop around for price, but the quality finds you. As for the other comments on this page, I must address that sounds like one of the other transmission shops in the area trying to discredit Brandon Transmission's GOOD NAME and I mean good name, I was referred to them by Dr. Rivera of Brandon. He was referred by Percision Automotive of Brandon. I have heard tales of an $18.00 part "fixes my whole car", not in this life time, get a grip. Old wise tales are always interesting to hear, but never true.
WOW exactly what I expect from sleez mechanics.
I read these reviews myself and they seemed to have really good reviews which generally are pretty accurate. They seemed to be helpful, kind and big on customer satisfaction. However my experience....
I went to their website and found that they offered a free diagnostic check, so I called up and made sure they weren't too busy for me to come down. They said "no," but they were rude and immediately hung up the phone. I should have halted there, but I have been struggling with my truck for weeks and I was frustrated, so I went to Brandon anyway. When I got there all the mechanics were sitting in the lobby on a break when I walked in they all got up and took their break in the office. I was greeted by someone, who knows his name he didn't take the time to give a good greeting, but he said he has been there for 29 years. About 45 minutes after getting there they finally took my truck to run their diagnostic. When the guy came back he called the "29 year" front office guy to the back exchanged a few words he came back and said "your transmission is dead have a good day." and proceed back to the back office. I stood there until he came back to the front I said well dead doesn't tell me what's wrong I just replaced the transmission less than a year ago and I would like to know what's wrong.... and what is an estimated cost of a fix I was told 2,000 dollars to put a rebuilt transmission in a 10 year old truck. At that point I left.
This is why I said sleez....After searching for a new transmission and quotes upset because I am like most of the people broke and of course the problems happen at the most awful times lol. I later took my truck to another shop out in Ocala Florida, someone I trusted , and he ran the same diagnostic and the only code that came up was a bad transmission coil estimated cost 20 dollars. Now my truck runs perfectly. My thing is I was hoping to find a good mechanic I could go to in Tampa area if a true problem did arise and Now I WILL NEVER GO HERE!!!!!! And on top of it they received a bad review and I will tell everyone I know not to go here. My advice if you do go here there diagnostic is free however get a second opinion because what they tell you is probably a lie.
Because mom always says "once and liar always a liar!"
