Amazing place!!!. I honestly must disagree with the last comment; I have been a loyal, weekly wise guys costumer for the past 2 years and have never had a bad experience. I LOVE the food it

Worse pizza delivery experience. We ordered a half Hawaiian half pepperoni large pizza and live relatively close. They stated it would take 45 minutes. After an hour and a half, we called wondering where our pizza was and they stated it was on the way. The half awake delivery person then called us asking for directions. He stated them back and said he was close and will be there in 5 minutes. After 2 hours has passed we called the delivery person back and asked if he needed further directions which he stated no and would be there soon. Our pizza finally arrived after 2 hours and 15 minutes. The delivery guy acted as if this was completely normal for their company. Our pizza was cold and we were offered no reimbursement. We will no longer be using wise guys and highly recommend Angelinas pizza in place of this highly disappointing experience.

GREAT PIZZA, WINGS AND ATMOSPHERE. I stumbled across this pizza place in Brandon by just the name. I found it unique. I found Marco to be extremely personable to the point we used their business for a retreat for USF at the Rotary Camp. The pizza is huge and the wings are soooooooooo delicious. I know Marco is redesigning the restaurant and am looking forward to my invitation upon completion. I highly recommend this business not because of Marco but because they use real cheese, not product. Can't wait to return to see you Marco!

over-priced greasy pizza. I didn't think it was possible to screw up a pizza, but Wize Guyz proved me wrong. There were puddles of grease on top of the pizza and grease was soaking through the flimsy paper plates that they serve it on. Also, this is a sit-down restaurant and they do not offer free re-fills on their fountain drinks. That's ridiculous, especially since you'll need several re-fills to wash down all the grease from their pizza.

Best Damn Pizza and Great New Owner!!!. This place has been around for a few years and a new owner took over last year...Mark is his name and what a great guy! But more important than a good, warm, and friendly owner , this is the best damn pizza around, hands down!!! I hear they are going to revamp the restaurant as soon as they are able to do so ... so hopefully the "dining" experience is just as good as the food "tasting" experience! Will come back again and again, they deliver too!

Support your local business and support Wize Guyz! They deserve it!

Cheers,

Guy

At last, a real NY style pizza in Tampa Bay. We've been avoiding this place for the past 3 years but heard the new owners not only turned it around but had the 'real' New York pizza. As soon as we entered, the aroma of Italian food was the first surprise. The new tables and painted mural of an italian village square were very inviting, as were the very friendly staff. The real test came with the food, one philly steak, pepperoni pizza slices, and chicken chef salad. All I could say was, finally, a real NY pizza! My husband had the philly steak and he said he never had one so good. The chicken chef salad was big enough for us to share, and it really was a quality unexpected in a pizzeria. The chicken was roasted herbed chicken, and we were told all the veggies in the salad were from the Hillsborough Produce Market. Being so pleased with our menu choices, we decided to order dessert to go - tiramisu and a canoli. Let me tell you, I haven't had a more delicious tiramisu anywhere. It was homemade, not the cake kind in restaurants, but with ladyfingers and the italian custard with marscapone, the kind I had when my husband was stationed in Italy. My husband ate the fresh-filled canoli..neither one of us was willing to share our dessert with the other! This Italian family has made such a dramatic change in food and presentation, it is well worth my time to encorage them to keep doing what they're doing and encourage others to make the visit. Just what we needed here in Brandon...Thank you Wize Guyz Pizzeria!

Great Service and Food. I noticed these are old comments, i need to update this information. I going to start by saying i am a customer of this place for the past 8 years since I moved to the area. As of a few months ago, they have a new owner, Mike, who is not only great with customers but his team is very polite and friendly. This place is neater and nicer lately and I take my kids there all the time because they love the new environment and the people that work there.

Was once one of the better pies in the area.... Wise Guys was once a good pizza joint. They changed owners or recipes or cooks or something, because the pizza has gotten a bit ordinary with a weird almost greasy bottom. Also, they have gotten a bit more strict, to protect themselves from the Movie-Rats I guess. We used to be able to get a pitcher of soda and a refill, but not anymore. They used to have games inside to occpuy the kids while we waited for the pizza. But they are gone. So, the pizza slid and the feel of the inside dropped as well. It seems to me in order to keep the place from being a teen-hang out, they took out was good about it. And with the inferior pie, we just go across the highway to Villa Rina (an excellent pizza behind Sweet Tomatoes on 60).
