READ BETWEEN THE LINES ON THESE REVIEWS.......
I have read all of these reviews. Its funny, actually. Of all of the complaints I read on Carrabas the one that REALLY tell me how this restaurant really is was about it being crowded and how long the wait it. That alone should tell you that a place that is ALWAYS busy and has long lines must be doing something right. Sure maybe they are a chain and maybe this isnt like the mom and pop Italian imigrant cafe at the plaza, but what do you expect? Considering that most families buy a can of sauce and boil noodles and call it "Italian Food" Carrabas is many notches above that. This is casual american dining with an Italian flair. You want authentico, find a hole in the wall run by Italian natives, but if you want a well rounded place that EVERYONE in the family can enjoy, then go to Carrabas. The food is consistant, flavorful, and best of all FRESH. Go in and see why people will wait in line to eat there....

Only went once!.
Italian fast food at its worst. Our server thought he was fantastic, it was so funny to see someone thinking so much of himself, whilst working in a terrible example of an Italian Restaurant. This really was the Italian equivalent of Applebee's!!

An open kitchen churns out wood-fired pizzas and fresh-made pastas at this casual Sicilian-American chain..
In Short
Decorated with family photos of founders Damian Mandola and Johnny Carrabba, the open dining rooms pack groups of friends and extended families into four- and six-person tables and booths; smaller parties or couples can grab stools at the open kitchen's adjoining bar to watch chefs make dinner. The traditional southern Italian menu offers grill specialties like steak Marsala and fire-roasted chicken breast with sun-dried tomatoes; pasta dishes include fettuccine Alfredo and garlic-sauteed shrimp with linguine.

Nice Italian chain. Good food value. Fun for families,.
Nice Italian Chain Restaurant. The Chicken Marsala is very good. Their Bread is great, and their Cesar Salad is always good. Friendly waiters. Double drinks during Happy Hour.
Always busy, but has a large dining room. Even fun to eat at the bar along by the chefs. Very hard workers - You will enjoy watching them. Good Food Value. Usually have a take home bag.

CONSISTENCY.
The food prep in not consistent and some items such as the fried calamari are very salty. Service is slow most of the time.

Just another Chain.
Come On! Real Italian. How about just another crowded chain restaurant. At least when I visit an area I would like to experience local charm and culture. If you want the same meal that you get at any of the other Carraba's by all means eat here.

Very Good.
Everything we've ordered so far has been very good. The food always tastes so fresh. I especially love the "Potato Crusted Sea Bass -- it's fantastic! This may be the best Italian chain restaurant in the land!
