Great salon. Worth every penny. I had Amanda do my hair and it was perfect. For the girl with negative review, if The Mix was overpriced for you maybe you should go to Cost Cutters.

Wonderful Aveda Salon!

I have been going to this salon for years and just love it! The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. They have just recently moved locations and are in downtown DeLand. This is a lot more convienent than Orange City. I highly recommend this salon for all types of treatment - hair cuts, color, nails and more.

Avoid this salon!! Over priced for what you come out with...............

Question for the ladies, have you ever walked into a spa, nail salon, or a HAIR SALON and always get stuck with the rookie!? That one person that doesn't really know what their doing yet, you still sit there because you don't want to be rude and say: Hey can I be passed on to some one else that knows what's going on.

My first visit was okay but not as bad. However, the color that was put on my hair was way too DARK for my complexion but, in my head I said that it would oxidize and would get lighter. Then the second and last visit the same girl Amanda says to me hey would you like a trim? (Sigh) Why did I say yes!? to this day I ask my self that, and as if that's not bad enough I left the salon convincing my self that my hair will grow back. In conclusion, nothing would prepair me for when I walked into my house to show my husband my hair cut. He took a DOUBLE look only to show me that I had a straight line on my head that wasn't dyed. I was mortified and wanted to cry at that very moment. I was out $150 dollars and walked out very dissatisfied. Would never recomend them.
