This Place is a real dump

Don't waste your time or money in this dump..The owner Glenda Kangis is a witch and is very rude to anyone that isn't in her click..She is a wish biker (scared to ride) and someone please tell her to give that white tanktop a day off!! The help is always nice which I find amazing working for the witch..So if you want to go drink where you feel like an outsider go to the Sandbar...If you are black forget about it they are not racial friendly..
- Pros: good bartenders
- Cons: The owner mills around drunk and bothers you trying to act cool..cops wait for you to leave so they can give you a DUI

Momma Glenda is the best bar owner to be around as well as her bar. It is a freindly atmosphere with bartenders with skill and personality. She has excellent bands on the weekends as well as ladie's night, happy hour, kareoke, and bike week events. The afternoon work crowd is my personal favorite to be around they are friendly and they love to enjoy happy hour. The happy hour prices are great. Come check her out if your in the area.

Glenda has made this one of the bars to go to. Roomy, with a dance floor, good service, resonable prices, and great bands. I've had a lot of fun at the Sand Bar. There always seesm to be something going on, and the regulars are very friendly. The previous reviewer who said to go to papa jonhs is crazy. The sand bar beats papa johns in every way. especially if your a smoker (which I am) because you can't smoke in papa johns !

New owners = nice hangout

As of 2005 this bar has dramatically improved thanks to Glenda, the new owner. Nice atmosphere, wonderful folks behind the bar, and significant improvements all around. Very crowded except for Monday and Tuesdays. Reasonably priced drinks and a lot of events.

- Cons: Needs more parking
