FREE TEA BUT NOT FREE TAP WATER. If you want a free glass of tap water with an $8 lunch DON'T GO TO SHELLS SEAFOOD RESTAURANT....You are allowed free tea with the lunch, but the owner informed me that free tap water instead was not an option. The owner was very rude and completely unreasonable. Wanted to give us free tea, or sell us a bottled water for $1.38 or for $0.50 more you could get a soda instead of tea, but you can not substitute tap water for the free tea. We left without eating

Love this local treasure!. This place is a tiny old building that I would have completely ignored if I hadn't known where I aaas going. A diamond in the rough for sure! The food is out of this world and the staff is nice as could be! I grew up on the Florida coasts eating seafood fresh off the docks, so I know good seafood! I tried the fried oysters, fish, and scallops and couldn't pick just one as a favorite. Even the chicken on the kids menu was great! Top it off with cheese grits and this is one happy southern girl!
