Great Place to go to with those rich relatives. Frappes North is a little jewel set in a cozy place, and very low key with their outside appearance, but they are, in fact, a wonderful small restaurant and pub, which mainly only the locals know about.

Reservations can be had, but unless there is an event, such as Race Week, Bike Week, or July 4th, usually you can be seated relatively quickly. I have NEVER had to wait.

The food is quite good, the presentation alone is worth going there. You are seated in cozy small rooms, with maybe 4 or 5 tables only, and the service is excelent. The cuisine is a sort of European -American mix, with a lot of exciting entrees and delightful appetizers, which cannot be matched anywhere else in the Central Florida area. If you are anywhere near Ormond Beach, and you have that "Special" date with you, or you want to impress the rich relatives with your urbane and cultured taste in restaurants, this is the place for you. You will not be disappointed. The prices run roughly in the $15 to $25 range per plate, expect to pay $8 to $10 for their great appetizers.
