While the name draws in race fans from the near-by speedway, it's the burgers that keep the crowds coming back for more.. Open since 1993, this local favorite serves up beer and burgers to the locals all year-round. Grab a seat at the bar, or squeeze into one of the booths in back. Racing memorabilia is all over the place, since the Daytona Speedway is just a mile down the road. Service is friendly and quick, though first-timers don't get a lot of immediate smiles. The long, narrow joint is packed for lunch every weekday, with the half-pound burgers as the main draw. The dinner menu goes a tad more upscale with steaks and seafood platters joining the burger-sandwich-salad lunch favorites.

best burger in daytona. after 30 years of eating burgers at the brickyard formerly call the flame lounge, i still get the flavor im looking for here, its cooked on an indoor gas grill that gives it the outside grilled taste.its a handfull and elbow dripping experience.
