Great local bar. I've been going to Murphy's for over ten years. Its a great neighborhood bar. Inexpensive, good food, friendly staff and a good mix of people. Chris and John work the bar during the week and they are great friendly bartenders. The parking lot is a little tight but there is plenty on the street.

Best Bar In CT (I know I've been to all of them). Tired of being jammed tight into a Main St bar with a 90/10 guy vs girl ratio? Wisk yourself away to the spacious layout of Murphy's Townhouse Cafe where a friendly barstaff is always ready to poor a healthy spirit. Amenities include Darts, Mega Touch, indoor plumbing and Golden Tee.

Neighborhood joint. Great place. Food is great but service ends early. Bartenders are great, especially Chris. very much a neighborhood joint with it's share of loud regulars. Friendly staff.
