incredible dining experience. I have been here twice, both times were superb, but the first time was the best dining experience I've ever had. I can't even recall what we had (it was three years ago), but I can tell you that everything was seasoned to perfection from the amuse to the dessert. Service was 10/10. Having lived in NYC for 8 years, Ive been to lots of great restaurants and this one ranks right at the top. If I'm ever in the NYC area again, I would make a trip to New Haven for this place. It's that good.

one of the top restaurants in the country. Ibiza offers a big city gourmet experience in New Haven. The food is imaginative and combines unique flavors, revealing the chef's prior training at El Bulli, one of the gastronomic capitals of the culinary world. It rises to a level comparable to that of a superb restaurant in most major cities in this country, and the prices are incredibly modest for food of this quality. New Haven is fortunate to have such a top-rate restaurant in its midst. When the quality of the cuisine is considered in the context of the prices, this is the one of the best restaurants in the country. Make no mistake-- this is a gem and the best restaurant in Connecticut.

Top food, top prices, average decor and ambience.. Very imaginative, tasty, beautifully presented and fun food. Overpriced in comparison to scoozi, the union league, roomba, etc. Super attentive service. Very snobbish management. Very spacious, but with cold decor and many in-the-way tables. "Read the small print" about prices, charges.

Good food with a heafty pricetag. As far as Spanish cusine goes, Ibiza puts a new twist on it. This is not a typical Spanish restaurant where you get tapas or paella. I went on a week night with a friend, and we were seated very promptly even though it was a bit crowded. We started with a pitcher of delicious sangria that was almost better than any that I had had while in Spain. The shortrib entree was to die for. I didn't even need a knife for the meat, it just fell apart it was so tender. It came with patatoes that were wrapped in cabbage that were just as delicious. The service at Ibiza was great, there was always someone around who was willing to help even when our waitress was busy with another table. It was quite expensive for a dinner for two, but well worth the price.

Pure Trendy Hype. Apparently Spanish is the new trendy ethnic bandwagon. The food is just good diner fare. It's meat and potatos, generally overcooked.
