Brannigan's Restaurant is CLOSED!!!!.
We went to Brannigans to use gift certificates that our son's purchased for us. Low and behold, Brannigans is CLOSED! What a shock. We've been there many times, but not recently. Reading the last review I see that they have been changing hands and doing poorly for their customers.
We called the restaurant and a message said they were closed. There was a hand scrawled note on the door saying that 'closed until further notice'.

That's a shame for our sons who bought the gift certificates for us. I feel bad and wonder if the money they paid is lost now. I'm writing a letter in hopes that I get a response from them, but I'm not holding my breath.
they dont care what they serve u or what its served on....... they were so hard that the onion inside was crisp.10 mins later my wifes burger came. It was cooked well but was horribly bland, the cheese was bland as if cheap, but edible with salt pepper and lots of ketchup, my ribs were extremely burnt on ends and underside, they were tough, and over-smoked.The sauce on them could not be called bbq it tasted like kerosine with catchup and minced onion bits. I was left wondering , if it was a reheated rib, the waitress felt so bad but this was not her fault, thanks for ruining my 19th anniverssary, i am 38 and not some fickle senior, this is appauling and i wouldnt feed my dog from this establishment. Funny thing is i have only been a chef for 19+ yrs and Kitchen Mgr. for major chains non fast food. And i would understand this if it were the middle of a rush but we were,The Only Table in the place. Your Staff besides the Waitress who was just the deliverence system , she did her job, maybe not her sidework, but as far as service ,she did.... You ruined a 19th yr Anniversary... which meant nothing to you i know, and your staff showed it, besides the waitress... Dubluv4life@yahoo
Needs a change. I've been here many times over the past 10 years. We found out that they switched owners for a second time this year. The menu is still the same limited sports bar menu that the previous owners had. The menu is suppose to change shortly, from what we were told. We ate in the bar but noticed they are trying to make the restaurant more of a fine dinning atmosphere. They have lines and cloth napkins which is nice. If they change the restaurant's name and update the menu they will be heading in the right direction. Our food took a little while to come out but we had a really good/nice waiter (Jeff I think). He was friend and fast to refill our drinks. He was running around like a mad man. He was good but wasn't getting help from anyone. I like that we didn't have to wait to be greeted, get drinks, or the bill. Overall good restaurant (in the making), very good service, but come back in 3 or 4 months when things should be better.
