Besides more than a half-dozen cuts of steak, diners can pick from large-portioned entrees like ribs, chops and shrimp or chicken "on the barbie." The Bloomin' Onion, a large onion dipped in batter and deep-fried, is an appetizer with a following.

The outback was a great aptmosphere and the food was excellent. We got served almost immediately. I will tell everyone I know to go there and enjoy a nice meal. The drinks are also very unique.

My experience at Outback is generally the same everywhere in the US. That is I am paying top dollar for a steak poorly cooked by a high school kid. I usually get seated after an extensive wait, which really makes me wonder about all of you who are willing to do that. The outback is a marketing success that relies on your inability to judge quality, much like starbucks.
