A comfortable hangout. a great local hole in the wall to hang out in and have a great burger. The mini burgers are perfect--just right. Really friendly owners and wait staff.

Great Burgers and Everything Else. This little whole in the wall, is a gem. I've lived locally for 5 years and finally stopped in about a month ago. Its now a must at least once a week.

One of Ivoryton's Best Kept Secrets!. The Ivoryton Tavern and Cafe may seem like a little hole in the wall, but if you take a moment and come inside, you won't be dissapointed. The playhouse is right across the street and many come in for dinner and a drink before the show. This little tavern is also suitable for families, and there are crayons and popcorn at every table! Other great features include wireless connection(wow!) a great patio with an outdoor fireplace, and always so much going on (live music on the weekends, open mike on Thursday nights) but what has to be the biggest seller is this little Tavern is ran by family and offers amazing homemade food, with huge portions at a very low price. The tavern is the perfect home for all walks of life! It is known right now for their famous mouth watering Reuben sandwhich! A few downfalls-it is a small kitchen-everything is homemade-so on occasion the food may take a little longer, and it also goes extremely fast, so what you love may not be there by the time you get there. This may sound chliche-but this is really a little tavern with a big heart. You will be treated like one of the family here-and in today's world that means alot!

great overall. Check it out, friendly, fun and relaxed atmostphere. Place to go on a date or just meet friends! Highly recommend.

sukilau. Jim, Pat and Nan have done an EXCELLENT job bringing a neighborhood bar back!!! From the antiques on the wall, to the girl's homecooked menu, this tavern rocks!!! Don't forget to stop by on Saturday night for some fabulous live music!
