Tracy is the BEST!!!. Tracy has been coloring and cutting my hair and also my daughter's hair for years now. I have been to numerous salons only to come out very disappointed and spending a ton of money! She is very nice and it is always a pleasure going to the salon! The atmosphere is very relaxing and not at all snobbish. Tracy is the only hair stylist that knows how to do a decent cut and she listens to what you have to say. My husband always compliments my hair style every time. He has also said that she does the best job! I don't know what Kal329 was talking about! Go to Tracy, you will love your hair!…
I ADORE TRACE!. I started going to Tracy from the 2007 review below- sight unseen -and have never been disappointed. My color and highlights have never been better and I have very dark hair which we all know can be one big brassy challenge. Her best asset- she takes her time. No rush rush, she really enjoys what she does and it shows. If you bring a photo in or take time to EXPLAIN what you want - you will not be disappointed.…

Tracy-Not good and Negative. I was not a fan of Tracy or the salon. When scheduling they only gave me a half hour for a haircut and I was a new client. Another client was after me and had to wait a half hour because I took an hour. Upon arriving, I sat down to wait for her only for a few seconds which was good, but as she greets me it's a lame hello. The consultation was ok, shampoo was ok, cut seemed to be doing ok. The blowdry was atrocious....my hair was flying all over the place getting frizzy and was the most awful blowdry ever. THEN I see the cut. I have thick hair, but I had huge hunks on each side of my head that I told her had to be thinned out and I got major attitude. She then cut her other client and then fixed mine, only for me to leave unhappy (it was ugly and boring) with an awful blowdry. I was going to have her color my hair but glad I didn't. I won't be back. By the way, the reason I put negative for her was because she was talking crap with her other client.....just a negative manner. I wanted the guy stylist across the room to save me...I kept glancing at him hoping he would help my awful dew.…
Tracy does a great job. She is one of the few hairstylists that I have been able to trust.. Many hairstylists want you to tell them how to cut your hair. With Tracy, I can tell her: "I want something that says...." and she does it and it always comes out looking good. For a small town outside of New Haven, it is surprising to find such an urban hair stylist.…
