All Time Worst Pizzas. Anyone who has a even slightest idea of what a real pizza tastes like should not go to this restaurant. The pizza should not even be called pizza. Especially since Mystic is only an hour's drive from the pizza mecca of New Haven. The crust was doughy, too sweet and too thick. The cheese did not seem to be all mozzarella and there was hardly any sauce. The little sauce that existed tasted like it was doused in garlic powder. I do not recommend this place to anyone. The service was horrible and slow as well.

FAV PIZZA PLACE - ANYWHERE!. When my girlfriend pulled off the I-95 exit and headed to this little place I was skeptical of what the pizza was going to be like. Even moreso after she mentioned there was a movie made about this place. Usually places that are immortalized in movies or TV shows (see, Cheers) are all hype and overpriced, and tend to go downhill in quality, very fast.

That was not the case w/ Mystic Pizza though. This pizzeria had the most wonderful and heavenly pizza known to man. We ordered two and they were scrumptious & served w/ a smile. Very insanely excellent combined with every positive flavor word is the concept we're trying to get across here.
