friendly service and great food. The Gashouse is one of the best restaurants. You know that you will consistently get great service and great food whether you are a local or a once a year visitor.

It is definitely worth the trip to Edwards to eat here.

Best Restaurant in Vail .. Friendly service and great food!!!!. Hands down one of the best reastaurants in the Valley. My husband and I come to Vail twice a year with our two kids and never miss a chance to have dinner at the Gashouse. The service is outstanding and the menu is very accomodating to families. We stay at the Ritz and the people who work there always recommend this restaurant. The filet is my favorite and the crabcakes are the best I have ever had. My husband always orders the lobster and it always exceeds our expectations. If you travel to Vail do not miss out on the oppertunity to eat here.

Tough Critic. Some people love it, others say no. I lean toward the no, but will admit to friendly service in a casual atmosphere that can be fun if your not expecting exceptional food. We live in

Colorado and enjoy "game" at many fine restaurants and even at home. The Gashouse does not rank among them. However, if you have never had that kind of fare it is an opportunity to try the exotic, and if you like it then you'll love it at a finer restaurant.
