In Short – Located in a historic brick building, this intimate museum places an emphasis on contemporary art. Special event nights and fundraisers are especially popular, when the museum overflows with wine-sipping patrons eager to bid on auction items. A wide range of educational programs are also available, including lectures, tours and art workshops that cover everything from cartooning to ceramics. Recent exhibits have includeded futuristic architect Vito Acconci; Gregory Crewdson's photographs; and the works of world-renowned artist Louise Bourgeois.
