We stayed for 2 nights in Nov. 2007. We rented 2 rooms and they both were not worth the over priced cost. As we were leaving, after we had checked out, I turned to take a picture of our friends on the main floor. I was slammed in my back by one of their doors. I ended up in emergency when I got home with a back injury. A picture was actually taken at the exact moment that I was injured. The Hotel will not respond to any of my complaints. Not even an apology. All they care about is getting money in their pockets and then in the welfare of their customers. I warn everyone do NOT waste your money at this hotel. BEWARE

We spent 4th July weekend at the Colorado Hotel. Before we went I read all the reviews on this website and to be honest I did not know what to expect. I called the hotel early on July 4 and requested a early check in and when we arrived at 11:00 am the hotel staff was friendly and ready to accomodate us. Our room was clean, cool and comfortable. I was also concerned about the lack of air conditioning but it was not uncomfortable in the least. I did notice that the Bible was displayed and opened to the 35 Palms and a crystal hanging from the ceiling fan this sent up a red flag due to ghostly experiences in my past. I would also like to add that we took our english bulldog with us and she had the time of her life and was warmly welcomed by the staff and other guests. But getting back to the ghost story on our last night there about 2:00 am I was suddenly awaken by something touching my leg and it wasnt my husband or my dog..... I will add that the Hot Spring pool is overpriced and the rafting trip we took via Big Sky Adventure was more like a float down the river. The Hotel Colorado was worth the expereince.

I have not stayed at the Hotel of Colorado but when my friend told me about it, she said that when you go to the floor where it is meant to be haunted, the temperature dropped dramatically. She said that it did not feel like an evil spirit but you felt like someone was watching you and it was eerie and like a spirit was wandering around there somewhere. I want a few friends to stay there but they won't. My advice, you never know what an experience like this is going to be like until you try it. So, take a chance and stay a night or two!!!
- Pros: A great experience.
- Cons: Totally Haunted!!!
