Excellent Customer Service!! – I came in with my children to open up accounts. The Teller line greeted us once we walked in. It was a very nice to see happy employees. The Branch Manger came up to me and my children and was very friendly. He got me with a Personal Banker and asked if I needed anything to drink? I was given a nice cup of hot coffee. (thumbs up) my kids were given coloring books to color in and one of the other bankers kept them entertained with his sillyness. My kids made a friend! :) The Banker that i worked with helped me with all my questions and made me feel right at home. I am glad I am with Wells Fargo. They have always been a wonderful bank to me and my family.
Terrible customer service, no loyalty – Montrose Colorado - Main St. branch. The teller declined a check I wanted to cash. I understand this is "company policy" but as a 9 year customer of Wells Fargo I expect some flexibility. She still refused.
I closed my account immediately - the so-called "Customer Service Rep" didn't even say I'm sorry to lose you as a customer, or make any comments about how to keep my business.
Wells Fargo is as bad as the old phone company - they don't worry about customer service because they figure there are plenty other suckers out there who fall for their "There when you need a hand" marketing crap.
I will share my experience of poor customer service with everyone I know in Montrose Colorado.
Oh - I went down the street to the local Alpine Bank, who were very happy to get my new account.

After being promised a call back on issues regarding my account, Liz, manager of this bank branch will not return my calls after 1 1/2 weeks. I have numerous accounts with Wells Fargo, none of which seem to be connected to the other. After weeks of trying nearly a dozen different phone numbers, I cannot get ANYONE who knows how to resolve or keep these accounts in check. my issues center around being unemployed recently in which I have not had work for a month and a half with no income other than unemployment which barely covers immediate needs. I have banked with Wells Fargo for several years and am a PLATINUM MEMBER and there has never been a problem with them extending credit to me or opening additional accounts, but when I am in need of adjustments on the revolving and auto accounts, no one in this system will respond in order for me to keep within good graces. I am appalled at the lack of response from the bank manager in Montrose Colorado at the downtown branch, whose name is Liz, and the NUMBER of calls (in the dozens...) I have had to make to resolve any issues with NO RESPONSE from ANYONE at this bank!

I just want someone at this bank to care enough to respond to my requests to resolve present issues!!
