Swedish immigrants built this inn in 1910. Today, it sits on 200 secluded acres designated as a wildlife refuge. Several newer accommodations have been built on the property, fulfilling a variety of needs. Among the offerings are a romantic cottage for two and the Spring House, which can accommodate up to 12 guests. Outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, fishing and horseback riding are minutes away. As well, the property is near Mesa Verde National Park and several Anasazi sites.

All of the 16 accommodations have private baths, TVs and coffee makers. The majority is done in a light, airy country style with open beam ceilings and tastefully rustic furniture. Included with your stay is a European-style gourmet breakfast and afternoon teas with hot and cold snacks.
