In Short – Jackson Lake features water sports on its wide-open high-plains reservoir. Visitors enjoy sailboats, motorboats, personal watercraft-s well as the beautiful waterfowl and wildlife that call these areas home. The park has plenty of campsites, most of which accommodate campers, trailers or tents. It also offers a group picnic area, complete with a picnic pavilion and a group campground. There is a dump station as well as showers, restrooms, a snack bar and a laundry facility.

Jackson Lake

You've got to be kidding me about this lake! I have been to many plain lakes and this one has to to be the worst. The weeds and all of the sticks and just poor overall condition of the facilities were the worst we've seen ever. One redeeming quality was when we got on to the water. But after that it was a nasty place to camp. It seems like they have just given up on maintaining this lake. Too bad because with some attention it could be a decent lake to go camping at. Also the park ranger's are rude.
- Pros: Water
- Cons: Everything else........
Never going back

Just got home from camping at Jackson Lake. I hated it will never go back there again I can't believe anyone would there there twice. The rangers are power hungey and get a kick out of it.If they have soooo much time on there hands maybe they should weedwack. The weeds are out of control. You have to walk through them to get anywhere. The bathrooms are nastey no hot water in the showers and the store prices are way to high.
- Pros: large lake
- Cons: everything else
