NB's facility is a gleaming, big-budget wonder with state-of-the-brewer's-art technology. Tours include tasters of the house creations. Fat Tire is the staple; it's a sweet, nutty ale, popular around the nation. NB's more challenging creations endear the company to many demanding drinkers. Abbey is a malty-rich "Dubbel" with an earthy nose and flavors of figs and white fruits. Trippel is a drier, hoppier creation with hints of herbal bitters on the finish.
