Best Pizza in Town. I have only been frequenting the Brick Oven since we moved here in January 2011 so I can't speak to the older posts. I can, however, give my honest opinion on the 30 plus visits to this establishment since we moved here in January 2011. In my opinion, it's hands down, the best pizza in berthoud. I'm not a big Pizza Hut fan though - too greasy for me. My favorite chain pizza is Old Chicago and I like Brick Oven's pizza slightly better. Justine's in Loveland also has very good pie. Out of all the 30 plus visits to Brick Oven, I did have one time where the pizza was slighly overcooked and they offered to make me another one at no charge. There were just a few bubbles on the edge of the crust that had blackened so I told them no. If I hadn't been starving, I probably would have taken them up on their offer to remake the pizza. A couple of times the center of the pie was a little floppy on the deluxe due to the veggies giving off juice as they cook - this doesn't mean the pizza was undercooked, it just made it a little harder to handle - not a big deal, I'd rather have it a little floppy in the center than have it get too dry from overcooking. I also tried the meatball sub which was awesome - huge sandwich for the $ - it was served on a big pizza pan, which was a little odd but the flavor and bread was great. They have a small dining area and not much atmosphere but that's not why I go. I've eaten in a few times but I usually order it to go. So, I'm not sure if they've made changes since these older posts but I've been getting great pizza from them all year and have never had anything but a 4 or 5 star pizza.

No Service, No Flavor. The Brick Oven evidently does not know how to produce a thoroughly cooked pizza. YUCK!!! After my first soggy pizza I swore off this pizzeria. I decided to give Brick Oven a second chance. Knowing what a mess the first pizza was I specifically requested a thin crust. After finishing the trek home I discover I not only have a thick crust, it is so undercooked the cheese & sauce slid off the pizza. I called FRUSTRATED to tell the manager I am disappointed in the product & the fact that they did not even follow through with a thin crust. HE HUNG UP! I called back & asked for a name, he told me he was the owner, Cliff. I followed up with, "Great customer service. I will never be ordering a pizza here." His reply was, "Thanks." In such a small town, you would think customers would be treated respectfully & a good business owner would strive to correct mistakes. Not so at Brick Oven! The pizza is inferior to the other options in Berthoud & the service is HORRIFIC!

I'm going back. We tried Brick Oven for the first time Dec 5,2009. We asked Cliff what he recommended. Cliff put together what he felt would taste good and it did. I am planning on going back and see what he comes up with next

Not so good. Saw that it had opened back up thought I would give it a try and it was bad. My kids would not even eat the cheese. Better off eating pizza hut or home bake. I had a meat lovers and it was over priced and way undercooked most of the toppings were cold and smelled very rotten. Tried to call but no answer. AVOID!

Grossssssssssssssssss. So I noticed first off that they went out of business and now there back. Also hbk worked at Brick oven when I got my pizza and she is the main reason I feel the need to complain. First off the toppings were bad. My wife had gotten sick for three days after. We told them and they lied and said we never got anything from them. Then I asked for the owner and he stepped out of the restroom without washing his hands and ate a pepperoni and spit all over him self and the other toppings. I would say try the other place in town or pizza hut. I have not had the chance to try the other place I think its joe doughs or something like that but anything would be better than Brick Oven!
